Aditi Walia, Ph.D.


Aditi Walia, Ph.D., earned her doctoral degree in microbiology and immunology from Georgetown University. She has 8 years of laboratory experience in microbiology and molecular biology.  She has over 8 years of work experience writing documents about clinical trials sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She collaborated with clinical research teams across the United States on developing clinical protocols to study cancer, influenza, malaria, and Zika virus.  She also successfully managed multiple projects on 3 NIH contracts while working closely with stakeholders. She is currently working as a freelance editor, revising scholarly publications and conference proceedings in addition to her affiliation with IBHRI.
