Roghieh Nooripour, M.S., earned her master's degree in counseling psychology and is working on her Ph.D. at Alzahara University, one of the leading universities in Iran. Currently, Roghieh is on sabbatical from her graduate program and completing a research project at the University of California, San Diego. This year, Roghieh was elected as distinguished research student at Alzahra University. She has been a member of Iran's National Elites Foundation since 2012. Additionally, she is a lifetime member of the Iranian Psychological Association and member of the Iranian Association of Social Psychology. Currently, Roghieh is a volunteer research scientist at IBHRI.


Roghieh is dedicated to research on quality of life interventions, therapeutic drug monitoring, evidence-based treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), behavioral medicine, and child and family health and well-being. She has published research on the subjects of high risk behaviors, drug use and abuse in adolescents, and has written books in Farsi on Anger Management.
